So I'll be arriving to New York on Friday. Until then—and possibly through the weekend, depending on how many films I go see—things might be light around here, with the occasional review popping up here and there. But in the meantime, the 47th New York Festival continues.
This week, the NYFF continues with their Masterworks series focusing on movies made by the People's Republic of China. On Friday, they begin their Views from the Avant Garde series with a restoration of a Pasolini work And Saturday they present their Centerpiece film (pictured above), Precious, directed by Lee Daniels who will talk about the film on Sunday.
