Star Trek Week Begins

Please indulge me this week as I celebrate the rebirth of Star Trek (1966-69), the show that first got me into cinema in the first place. More after the jump. This week, I'll take a look at the TV series, its first season recently remastered and released in a beautiful Blu-ray edition. And I'll review the film twice, once from a long-time Trekker's view, and once with a deeper, critical mindset.
